For Christmas my wife bought me a “Seinfeld” calendar that features a fact a day about my favorite show.
Yesterday’s was a fun one. It listed some of the actors who auditioned for the role of George, such as:
- Nathan Lane
- Steve Buscemi
- Danny DeVito (!)
- Brad Hall
- David Allen Grier
- Anthony Edwards (?!)
- Robert Schimmel
- Larry Miller
It’s fun to think of Hall appearing alongside his wife, Julia Louis-Dreyfus, in the role of George.
